Maine Guide and USCG Captain Brian Johnson has well over 35 years of experience in the hunting and fishing industry. From bears in the Northwoods to sea ducks on the coast, you will have a fantastic experience hunting with this professional guides man.
Brian guides fresh and saltwater fishing trips, snowmobile trips, and hunting for moose, bear, and turkey. Brian and his staff are passionate about their knowledge and love sharing their hunting experience with others.

Brian Johnson and Mike Hogue have hunted, fished, and snowmobiled together for over 25 years. Mike is a 40-year tournament bass fishing veteran and a United States Air Force veteran. Mike is also a registered Maine Guide and works as a guide with Brian at Johnson Sporting Camp.
I have been on 6 Bear hunts with Johnson Sporting Camp, and I have harvested 6 awesome Bears. I have videoed more Bears than I have shot. Brian put on a great hunt. The “Camp” is not a camp, it’s a home, with home-cooked meals. Brian goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great time and get your Bear. He tracked one of my Bears until 1 AM. I shot it at 6 PM. We got back to camp at 4 AM. What else can I say? I highly recommend Johnson Sporting Camp for having a great Bear hunt. I have seen 50 to 60 Bear at the least harvested over the years that I’ve been there. I hope to go again soon.
